Our drops are designed to last for years to come, but there are some tips to remember:

• All fabrics are wrinkle resistant. Premium you can hang right out of the box. All fabrics can be thrown in dryer for 5 mins on high and wrinkles will all disappear.
• All fabrics are machine washable.
• For the rubber-backed floors, it is recommended to be gently swept after each use. Vacuuming is not recommended. A protective layer, such as plexiglass, is recommended for wet or messy sessions, i.e., cake smashes. Food dye is unpredictable and is not guaranteed not to stain. The floors can be spot cleaned with a wet/damp rag. If your floor becomes wet it is CRUCIAL to ensure it is completely dry prior to storage. Some have successfully used a light pressure washer for heavy cleaning (be advised there is always a chance of damaging the floor with too high a pressure).

• Fleece: Our fleece backdrops are crafted from a thick, plush fabric that offers a soft texture and beautiful drape. Known for its wrinkle resistance and light-absorbing qualities, this material helps reduce glare and delivers rich, true-to-color prints. Durable yet cozy, fleece backdrops are perfect for studio sessions, offering a versatile and professional foundation for any scene.
• Dream Fabric: thinner then fleece, almost as thin as premium. Lightweight, washable and dryable. Fuzzy back so it sticks to floor mats like fleece, It is a DREAM to work with.
• Royal Dream Fabric: Thin premium type fabric without the fuzz of fleece for the price of fleece. Space savers like premium and Dream fabric.Premium like material for price of fleece, the most economical luxury fabric in the industry. These are not fuzzy on back and will not stick to our floor mats.
• Premium: the thinnest of fabrics available in all sizes. Sizes 8x8' and larger come with a rod pockets for hanging. It's our most wrinkle resistant fabric. You can wash and dry this amazing fabric. It's made of a polyester blend.
• Fleece X-Drops: Our fleece X-Drop backdrops are crafted from a plush, heavyweight fabric that delivers rich color, minimal glare, and excellent wrinkle resistance. Each backdrop features five reinforced metal grommets for quick and secure setup on an X-Drop Pro Backdrop Stand. Built for durability and designed for repeated use, these backdrops offer a professional look with easy up-and-down convenience—perfect for both studio and on-location sessions. • Silicone Edge Backdrops: Our silicone edge backdrops are printed on a soft, premium tension fabric that offers a smooth, wrinkle-resistant finish. Lightweight yet durable, this professional-quality material stretches beautifully across your frame for a clean, seamless look every time.
  
• Rubber Backed Floor Mats: Our floor mats consist of a textile-pile top and a non-slip rubber mat on bottom, much like a mouse pad. These mats are a very durable, long term photography floor, that we highly recommend.
• Fabric Floors: Fabric Floors are flexible, easy to fold, and can be stored just like a backdrop. Our fabric floors are made from Fleece, but they can also be found in Dream Fleece, Royal Dream or Premium material, depending on the size. Both Fleece and Dream Fleece options are designed to adhere to our Rubber Backed Floor Mats, helping prevent shifting and wrinkling during use. We highly recommend using Fleece or Dream Fleece for floors over Premium or Royal Dream for this reason.
• Vinyl Floors: Our vinyl floors are made from durable, tear-resistant white vinyl with a smooth, easy-to-clean surface. This heavy-duty material is perfect for high-traffic use, including photographing children, pets, food, and products. Vinyl floors can be used as both a floor or backdrop, making them a versatile studio essential. They roll up easily for storage or travel and can be mounted on frames, stands, tables, or inside tents for a seamless setup. Simply wipe clean with a spray cleaner and damp cloth—tough scuffs can be removed with a magic eraser.

The final look of a backdrop can vary due to differences in lighting, camera settings, and editing techniques, including post-production work in Photoshop. To ensure you get the expected results, always refer to the product image when ordering.

All of our backdrop materials are wrinkle-resistant, but if you have stored your backdrop folded for an extended period, it may have developed a pesky crease. We suggest hanging your backdrop as you normally would and using a handheld steam iron. You can also head over to DreamEdu - Backdrops Materials and read about your specific backdrop material. Glad you asked! Those are our designer initial codes! Every designer has a designer initial code that corresponds to one of our talented designers. For most designers, it's their initials, but sometimes two designers have the same initials and we have to get creative. Luckily, we now post who designs every drop on every product page and the link to the designer's collections! Go give them some love!

We do not offer the sale of digital background on our backdrops. Backdrops purchased by Baby Dream Backdrops may not be used in the creation of your own digital backdrop for resale to other photographers, but can be used to create digital for your own personal use. Our drops are either hand created and retain the rights for printing and we retain all rights for reprinting or we have purchased the license from the original artist to reprint. Purchasing a drop or floor does not give you the same license to reproduce. Products sold from Baby Dream Backdrops, LLC remain sole copyrighted by Baby Dream and may not be reproduced or copied for resale in digital or printed form.

RTS stands for Ready to Ship. Website orders are drops already printed, so
you do not have to wait for additional production time. RTS backdrops ship within 24 hours straight from Baby Dream. RTS A and RTS J ship within 2-5 business days from the printer.

Many of our drops are exclusively designed and photographed with real props in our designers’ studios. However, some designs can be reworked—flipped, recolored, or customized in creative ways. If you have an idea, our designers just might be able to work their magic!

No, unfortunately not. Orders are sent directly to the printer and once your order is placed it goes immediately into production with our printer, so selecting size and design is important before check out.

We get it—this can be a bit confusing. Our store runs on the Shopify platform, and their Express Checkout screen highlights Shop Pay by default. But don’t worry—other payment options are available!

On the Express Checkout page, scroll past the big purple Shop Pay button. At the bottom, you’ll see a small link that says “Check out as guest.” Click that, and you’ll unlock additional payment methods like credit cards, PayPal, Afterpay and more.

You're not imagining things—Afterpay is available, but Shopify’s checkout flow can make it a little tricky to find. By default, Shopify highlights Shop Pay in the Express Checkout section, which may hide other payment options like Afterpay.

To access Afterpay, scroll to the bottom of the Express Checkout page and click the small “Check out as guest” link just below the purple Shop Pay button. Once you do, Afterpay (and other options) should appear.
