Hey y’all, my name is Ashley! Owner of AWAL Photography. I’m from south Louisiana and I’m a mom to 2 beautiful girls! Photography has really always held such a big place in my heart. As a child I loved to sit and look through my family’s boxes of portraits; filled with albums, Polaroids, home video cassettes, and so many memories. My mom’s father lost his battle with colon cancer on Christmas Eve before I was born, so I never had the honor of meeting my grandfather in life, but seeing his stories told through these photographs was something that I truly treasured growing up. This love and passion for photography followed me through the years and I finally got my first DLSR camera in 2011 for Christmas from my parents. When my first daughter was born in 2017 I quit my day job and began my photography career then shortly later got a studio in my hometown, where over the years I have crafted my photography style. Now, I specialize in Fine Art Photography, maternity, children, and family. I strive to always create unique, timeless portraits for my clients and their family to cherish for generations to come. I love using Baby Dream backdrops for my sessions! The BEST quality!!
